PRERANA, a non - profit making trust is a state level foundation with National and International repute has been working over two decades for environmental protection, Sanitation and Cleanliness campaigns along with socio-cultural activities throughout the state. It is a partnership of people who regardless of race, sex, creed and religion. PRERANA registered under the rules and provisions of the India trust act of 1882 in the year 2004 in the office of the sub register Bhubaneswar. During its involvement the Trust has extended and directed a strenuous and concentrated effort to create awareness amongst the professionals and expects in these fields for revitalizing their creativity to ventilate the changing faces of people’s culture, value system, social and ecological degradation, etc.

Everyone has a birth tree. A tree is assigned to a specific range of days in a year. Each birth tree explains some significant characteristic traits and behaviour of people who are born around a certain range of days.
Women of the state have always shared a feeling of kinship with trees as a consequence of the Chipko and Raksha Sutra movements. Each Rakhya tree explains some significant characteristic traits and behaviour of people.

Tree plantations Tree plantation is a biological practice where large amount of trees or plants have been planted in a given area. Most tree plantations are monoculture.
